Tequila Herradura (officially Grupo Industrial Herradura) is a tequila distiller located in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico. It was formally founded in 1870 by Félix López and the business remained in the family for over 125 years. Today it is owned by US beverage maker Brown-Forman, but the tequila is still made in the same place and facilities under a Mexican subsidiary. Tequila products sold under the Herradura name are 100% agave. The company makes other tequila products such as El Jimador, which is the best selling tequila in Mexico, as well as New Mix, a tequila and grapefruit soda beverage. Since its acquisition by Brown-Forman, Herradura has had a number of promotional efforts in Mexico and the United States, including inviting artists to use tequila barrels as the bases for art pieces, which are then displayed and auctioned off for charity.

El Jimador Tequila is crafted using 100% blue agave and fermented naturally with wild yeast produced by the fruit trees and agave plants surrounding the distillery

Finlandia is a brand of vodka produced in Finland. It is made from barley distilled into a neutral spirit in the village of Koskenkorva in Ilmajoki, operated by Finland’s Altia Corporation. The distilled alcohol is then transported to a production facility in the village of Rajamäki in Nurmijärvi, about 45 kilometers (28 miles) north of Helsinki. In Rajamäki, the spirit is blended with glacial water, flavored (except for the classic non-flavored edition, 101 and Platinum), and bottled.
The Finlandia brand was established in 1970 by Alko, Finland’s state-owned alcoholic beverage company. It is now owned by the Brown–Forman Corporation.
Finlandia vodka is distributed in 135 countries and is widely associated with Finland on the international market. Flavors include cranberry (since 1994), lime (1999), mango (2004), red berry (2004), wild berries (2005), grapefruit (2006), tangerine (2009), and blackcurrant (2009).

In 1780, John Jameson established a way of making Irish whiskey that we’ve been proudly sticking to ever since.
As you can imagine, producing a blended Irish whiskey that has been enjoyed for over two centuries takes a lot. But don’t worry, we’ve distilled over 200 years of courage, craft, and a collective appreciation for taste, into one short account. So here’s the secret behind our signature smoothness – our process and our people.

Absolut was established in 1879 by Lars Olsson Smith and is produced in Åhus, Sweden. Smith challenged the city of Stockholm’s liquor marketing monopoly with his vodka.
In 1917, the Swedish government monopolized the country’s alcohol industry. Vodka was then sold nationwide under the name “Absolut Rent Brännvin”. In 1979, the old name Absolut was picked up when the upper-price range Absolut Vodka was introduced. Renat is the name of another vodka product sold by Pernod Ricard Sweden AB.
Absolut Vodka was introduced to the global market in 1979. Today, Absolut sells over 100 million litres of vodka annually (2018). The vodka is made from winter wheat.

Glenlivet is categorised as a Speyside distillery. As of 2016, The Glenlivet range consists of 14 whiskies.
The main product range from the distillery is The Glenlivet range of single malt scotch whisky, but whisky from the distillery is also used in the production of Pernod Ricard’s other brands, including Chivas Regal and Royal Salute whisky brands.
Bottling of The Glenlivet took place at a Chivas Brothers bottling plant at Newbridge just outside Edinburgh, but that plant was sold at the end of 2009 with bottling to be transferred to other Chivas Brothers plants.
In 2008, The Glenlivet announced expansion plans for the distillery to keep up with increased demand. This includes the installation of a new mash tun, new stills and new washbacks. The expansion cost the equivalent of US $15 million and significantly increased capacity.

Malibu is a coconut flavored liqueur, made with Caribbean rum, and possessing an alcohol content by volume of 21.0 %. As of 2017 the Malibu brand is owned by Pernod Ricard, who calls it a “flavored rum”, where this designation is allowed by local laws.
The product was created by Tom Jago of International Distillers & Vintners, and originally made from fruit spirits, flavored with rum and coconut flavoring in Curaçao. Originally, the product was used to simplify the making of piña coladas by bartenders. When the product took off, the production was then moved to Barbados, where the rum is made by West Indies Rum Distillery Ltd., and the quality of the ingredients used was improved.

In January 2019, the brand launched a new eco-program with an aim to source 100% of its coffee sustainably by 2022. Director of sustainable development Billy King plans to “bring positive change to the lives of Mexican coffee farmers and their families”. At the time, Kahlua said that social cohesion, gender equality and education within coffee-growing communities were other key focuses for the program.
In 2021 Kahlúa introduced a new bottle design. It also reduced the alcohol content to 16% “to address ‘evolving’ consumer trends towards conscious drinking and lower-alcohol options.

Following the end of Prohibition in 1933, many distilleries began to reopen. New distilleries were constructed in an area southwest of Louisville known then as St. Helens. The city of Louisville was understandably eager to annex the lucrative St. Helens area, but in 1938 the Kentucky General Assembly passed a bill requiring that at least 50% of the residents of an incorporated area approve annexation by a “Class I” city (a definition which included only Louisville). Two months later, this area, including all of the distilleries, was incorporated as Shively, ending Louisville’s annexation attempt.

The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
Originally, The Macallan was matured only in oak sherry casks brought to the distillery from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Beginning in 2004, The Macallan introduced a new main product, the Fine Oak series, with the whisky mellowed in bourbon oak casks as well as sherry ones. In 2018, the Fine Oak series was renamed as the Triple Cask Matured range.

Highland Park distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson, a butcher and church officer by day and illicit distiller and whisky smuggler by night. In 1798 he was caught illegally distilling whisky on the site. In 1826, nearly 30 years later, Highland Park received an official licence to distill whisky.
The name of the distillery does not refer to the Scottish Highlands, but rather to the fact that the distillery was founded on an area called ‘High Park’ distinguished from a lower area nearby.
